Become Top 1% of School Leaders: Understanding AI & Using It With Purpose
Over the last decade I’ve worked with thousands of teachers and school leaders in-person and through online workshops and courses. I’ve never been more excited about an opportunity to work with you all than I am right now!
I’ve partnered with Maven to release the first Cohort of a new program:
Frequently asked questions
What level of AI Experience do I need?
This course is designed for multiple levels. If you're just starting with AI, watch the foundational modules on AI fundamentals. If you're already comfortable using ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, you can skip straight to the AI-Ready Leadership modules.
Do I need technical or coding experience?
No coding or technical experience required. You'll be using no-code interfaces like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. If you can write clear instructions in English, you can use these tools.
What tools will we be using?
We'll be using Claude as our everyday use tool. Similar workflows can be used inside ChatGPT, Gemini, or Co-Pilot. We'll be using Claude for our data analytics and creation tool. We'll be primarily using Manus for our automation and delegation building. We'll be primarily using Notion for our note-taking and meeting tool.
Other tools as needed.
Can I pay with a Purchase Order?
Yes, we provide quotes to all organizations if you need to pay with a Purchase Order. Please email me at [email protected] and we'll be in touch with a quote within 24 hours.
When do I receive my Certification?
You'll receive your Certification upon completion of the Cohort and final Project. We'll also list you as a Certified AI-Ready School Leader on our site.
Will these tools work with my organization’s AI policies and security requirements?
If your organization hasn't approved these platforms yet, you can use the tools on a personal account and use them for your own work without sharing confidential information. We'll cover best practices for responsible AI use.
What happens if I can’t make a LIVE Session?
All sessions are recorded and shared within 24 hours. You'll get a session guide for each one. You can still learn and use your tools asynchronously and get feedback from peers and instructors in the course community.
Can I get my organization to pay for this?
Many students expense this as professional development. We can provide a detailed course outline and learning objectives to submit for approval.
What if my team or organization is skeptical about AI?
I'm sure they are. This course teaches you how to introduce AI in a way that builds trust, not resistance. You'll learn to model effective use (not just tell them to use it) and implement the 3-phase adoption plan we teach inside of the cohort.
What is the refund policy?
This course is backed by the Maven Guarantee. Students are eligible for a full refund up until the halfway point of the course.
So, what’s my Cohort all about?
AI isn’t coming to education. It’s already reshaping how decisions get made, how communication happens, how data gets interpreted, and how work gets done. The question is no longer if leaders should use AI, it’s whether you’ll use it with intention or fall behind using it accidentally.
Right now, most school leaders are stuck at the surface level understanding and skill. Using AI to draft an email… maybe summarize a document… occasionally make a resource.
That’s not leadership-level AI use.
The real shift (and the move that puts you in the top 1% of school leaders) is learning how to use AI to think, lead, and design better systems.
